Kohr Method Terms & Conditions

Kohr Method (Kohr Method Incorporated) provides pilates-based group classes, private sessions, and training programs delivered with a commitment to safety, clarity, and an elevated member experience. By creating an account, purchasing any service, or attending classes or other services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
Pilates, reformer work, strength-based movement, and use of equipment involve inherent risks, including the potential for injury or aggravation of existing conditions.
By participating, you:
Acknowledge these risks (known and unknown) and voluntarily assume full responsibility for your participation.
Understand that activities may include supervised, unsupervised, indoor, or outdoor movement, which carry additional risks such as uneven or slippery surfaces.
Release, indemnify, and hold harmless Kohr Method Incorporated, its owners, instructors, employees, and contractors from any and all liability related to injury, disability, death, loss, or damage arising from participation or use of Kohr Method facilities, equipment, or services.
This release is binding to the fullest extent permitted by law and applies to your heirs, personal representatives, and assigns.
If any portion of this clause is deemed invalid, the remainder remains in full effect.
ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
WAITLIST POLICY
Participation in any Kohr Method class, session, workshop, or program is subject to the following eligibility and readiness requirements. These requirements exist to ensure the safety, integrity, and quality of the Kohr Method experience for all participants (inclusive of members and or non-members).
Age Requirements
Participants must be at least 14 years of age to attend Kohr Method classes or sessions.
Participants under the age of 18 must have written consent from a parent or legal guardian on file prior to participation.
Kohr Method does not offer programming for children under 14.
Health & Physical Readiness
By participating in any Kohr Method offering, you confirm that:
You are in sufficient physical and mental condition to engage in pilates-based movement.
You have no medical condition, injury, or limitation that would prevent safe participation, or you have received clearance from a qualified healthcare professional.
You understand that pilates involves physical exertion, coordination, and use of specialized equipment.
Participants are responsible for:
Informing instructors of injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy, or physical limitations prior to class or session.
Modifying or discontinuing movement as needed to maintain safety.
Kohr Method instructors may offer guidance and modifications, but participants are ultimately responsible for listening to their bodies and choosing appropriate levels of participation.
Safety & Instructor Discretion
Kohr Method reserves the right to limit, modify, or refuse participation if a participant’s health, readiness, or conduct presents a safety concern.
Instructors may recommend:
A different class level
Private or semi-private sessions
Temporary pause or modification of participation in order to protect the participant and the integrity of the class environment.
Assumption of Risk
By participating, you acknowledge that:
All physical activity carries inherent risk.
Kohr Method, its instructors, staff, and affiliates are not responsible for injuries resulting from undisclosed conditions, misuse of equipment, or failure to follow guidance.
Participation is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk
MEMBERSHIP BILLING & PREAUTHORIZED PAYMENTS
MEMBERSHIP HOLD POLICY
By purchasing a membership or payment plan, you authorize Kohr Method’s designated billing provider to process recurring payments, including:
Monthly dues
Late fees
Service fees
Any approved add-on purchases
Payments may be processed using ACH, credit card, or other authorized methods.
Additional terms:
Payment dates follow your membership agreement and will appear on your bank or card statements as receipts.
If a payment varies by more than $100 from the previous payment, you will receive advance notice.
Kohr Method may revoke autopay privileges if payments fail.
Revoking your payment method does not cancel your contractual obligation.
A service fee applies to any returned or declined payment.

SERVICE MODIFICATIONS & CLOSURES
AGREEMENT
All memberships automatically renew at the rate stated in your agreement unless canceled.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS
CLASS & PRIVATE SESSION CANCELLATION POLICY
STUDIO POLICIES & CODE OF CONDUCT
All purchases—including memberships, class packs, drop-ins, private sessions, workshops, and teacher training deposits—are non-refundable and non-transferable, without exception.
COMMUNICATIONS & AI-ASSISTED SUPPORT
Contact Us
You may request a temporary hold (i.e. freeze) your membership and provide the business with a start and end date for the hold period. Exceptions include any medical or unforeseen emergency reasons (e.g., pregnancy, surgery, etc.).
Requests must be submitted via voice mail, text, in-app message (via Momence App), or email.
Hold requests cannot be backdated.
MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION POLICY
You may cancel within the first 28-day of activating your membership without penalty. After the first 30-days there is a $99 cancellation fee, automatically charged to your payment method on file.

Your membership remains active—and billing continues—until the 28-day notice period is completed.
To maintain fairness to members and instructors:
Group Classes
Cancellation window: 5 hours before class
Late cancels or no-shows: loss of class credit
Private Sessions (1:1, Duets, Small Group)
Cancellation window: 24 hours before session
Late cancels or no-shows: loss of appointment credit
Kohr Method may grant exceptions for injury, illness, or severe weather at its discretion.
To cancel a class - login to your Momence account.
Joining a waitlist counts as holding a booking.
If a spot opens, you may be added up to 2 hours before class, and normal cancellation rules apply. You’ll receive an SMS or email—please keep notifications enabled to avoid missing updates.
If you are overbooked and moved from the waitlist into class, you may be charged a drop-in fee or lose a credit.
Members are responsible for monitoring their schedule and adjusting waitlist spots proactively.
PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT
Kohr Method uses an AI-assisted inbox to help process requests or inquiries made via:
Voicemails
Text messages
In-app messages
Emails
The AI may respond on behalf of the studio to support scheduling, membership management, and other general inquiries.
Kohr Method may occasionally capture photo or video content inside the studio for marketing or educational use.
By agreeing to these Terms, you consent to the possibility of appearing in this content.

Members agree to:
Arrive on time and follow instructor guidance
Respect equipment, space, and other members
Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment
Use appropriate movements for their level, as determined by instructors
Follow all cleanliness and hygiene expectations
Kohr Method reserves the right to revoke or suspend access for unsafe, disruptive, or harmful behavior.
Kohr Method may temporarily close or modify schedules for:
Holidays
Inclement weather
Special training weekends
Instructor availability
Facility maintenance or upgrades
No credits or refunds will be issued for studio-wide closures or schedule adjustments.
By purchasing any service or attending sessions, you confirm that:
You have read, understood, and agree to all Terms & Conditions
You are signing voluntarily
You understand these terms govern all interactions with Kohr Method
You understand Kohr Method relies on this agreement to permit your participation
